Job Description

Job Duties:
Feature Development: Write clean, maintainable Java code using Jakarta EE/Java EE specifications (EJB, CDI, JAXRS) within VS Code.
Database Programming: Author, optimize, and maintain complex TSQL queries, views, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server.
Deployment & Configuration: Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise applications on Payara Server or Payara Micro.
Build Automation: Configure and maintain Maven pom.xml files, manage dependencies, and resolve version conflicts.
Source Control Management: Commit, branch, merge, and push application code daily using Git workflows.
AIAssisted Efficiency: Leverage GitHub Copilot in VS Code to accelerate code generation, draft unit tests, and refactor code.
Testing & Quality: Write JUnit tests and perform rootcause debugging for runtime exceptions within the Payara environment.
