Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Designs, develops and maintains complex programs in specialty component system
Develops, executes, and documents test plans
Works with users to define scope of project
Develops business requirements and specifications for specialized
components, which may involve identifying alternatives at the system
level
Analyzes application problems and determines appropriate solution
Creates estimates and time lines for scheduled tasks
Applies proficient knowledge of data to create effective solutions
Designs and suggests database and other file structure upgrades and implementation
Applies advanced knowledge of business functions of the assigned business unit
Applies understanding of supported business area functions to assignments
Addresses user inquiries related to areas of responsibility
Maintains system documentation


Job Requirements:
Advanced knowledge and experience with Java/J2EE
Translate business requirements into an application architecture
Advanced knowledge and experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience with Java Frameworks (i.e. Spring, MVC, Struts, Hibernate)
Experience with XML
Experience with JSON
Experience with Subversion or equivalent source code control system
Experience developing and consuming web services (JAXWS, JAXRPC, REST)
