Job description

Hiring for a global leading financial institute based in North Carolina who apply a systematic approach to investment management, which is heavily reliant on technology. They are seeking 2 hires this quarter to their core engineering team ranging in seniority.

The day to day role will require you to design and develop an RF-OS platform in enterprise risk technology; hands‑on development using Java 8, multi‑threading/low‑latency paradigms along with J2EE technologies like Spring representational state transfer (REST) application programming interfaces (APIs) and messaging APIs involving Solace and Kafka.

Requirements
  • 7+ years professional experience with Java
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline
  • Experience with multi threading
  • 7+ years experience as a software Engineer/Developer
  • Problem‑Solving Attitude: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges. Willingness to dive into complex problems and find innovative solutions.
  • Will need to be in the office at least twice a week (Cary)
