Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
1. Strong proficiency in core Java development and troubleshooting
2. Hands-on experience with the Apache Struts framework for web application maintenance and support.
3. Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining scripts using Java script, Perl and PHP.
4. Perform maintenance and updates on legacy PowerBuilder applications, including DataWindow modifications and PowerScript debugging
5. Migration of legacy PowerBuilder applications to Java-based platforms
6. Proficiency in DB2 and MariaDB that includes writing complex queries, Schema and Data modeling, Application integrations and Database migration
7. Experience with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools.
8. Good understanding of cloud technologies
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Level 2 and Level 3 Application support
2. Coordinate with the Offshore team.
3. Focus on preventing failures through Automated monitoring and alerts.
4. Communicating the status of critical incidents and resolution timelines to customer
5. Identify Business opportunities and suggest solutions
6. Documenting complex fixes and maintaining a centralized knowledge base
7. Application Outage management, Automation & Ticket elimination Strategy
