Job description

Work Period: July 2026 to December 2026

Location & Schedule: This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in either Needham, MA or Miami, FL. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.

Join the SharkNinja Early Edge Experience: Built for early career talent. Geared toward impact. Driven by speed. Whether you're in a co-op or internship, our early talent program is designed to provide valuable exposure to the industry and a fast-paced professional environment. You'll dive into meaningful projects and tasks that sharpen your skills and deepen your knowledge. Along the way, you'll benefit from professional development opportunities, community events, and connections that make your experience well-rounded and enriching. Your time with us will culminate in an opportunity to showcase your contributions and learnings to SharkNinja leaders because this is a program for those ready to shape what's next - fast.

This role: SharkByte is SharkNinja's AI-native early talent program, and the co-op experience is built differently on purpose. This five-and-a-half-month immersive rotation gives co-ops the opportunity to work on real business problems, build production-ready AI solutions, and contribute to initiatives that create measurable impact across the company.

From week one, co-ops are embedded directly into live SharkNinja projects with real ownership, real deliverables, and direct partnership with technical and business leaders. There are no simulations, shadow projects, or busy work. Participants are expected to help build and scale solutions that support SharkNinja's broader AI transformation strategy.

Co-ops partner closely with teams across the business to leverage AI and analytics to turn data into actionable insights and drive smarter decision-making. The experience sits within SharkNinja's Jailbreak AI initiative, a company-wide movement backed by $1M in innovation awards, giving participants direct exposure to real AI deployments and enterprise-scale innovation efforts.

The program is designed for builders with experience in software engineering, AI/ML, full-stack development, automation, or data analytics who want hands-on experience in a fast-moving environment. Co-ops receive access to the same tools used across SharkNinja, including Claude Enterprise and a personal AWS sandbox, along with exposure to executives, AI founders, and company-wide innovation initiatives like Jailbreak EDU and the $1M AI Awards. Participants are also fully integrated into Early Edge programming for mentorship, networking, and professional development.

Because of the extended nature of the co-op experience, participants are able to take projects further, build deeper relationships across the organization, and contribute to work with lasting visibility and impact. Top performers have pathways to return offers or full-time opportunities, and every participant leaves with a SharkByte AI Certification tied directly to the work they shipped and the impact they delivered.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:

  • Own the end-to-end scoping, analysis, and delivery of a defined business problem - from data gathering through insight communication
  • Design, iterate, and document AI prompts and workflows; take ownership of data preparation pipelines for assigned projects
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, or models that are actively used by internal teams - with full accountability for quality and accuracy
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights within datasets and translate them into actionable recommendations
  • Use AI tools to improve efficiency and automate analytical workflows
  • Develop and test agentic workflow prototypes that reduce manual effort on high-friction business processes
  • Present findings and recommendations directly to team leads and business stakeholders
  • Identify data gaps or inconsistencies and propose solutions, not just flag them

Our ideal builders will have the following attributes & skills:

  • Education: Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program, or have graduated within the past year
  • Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in either Needham, MA or Miami, FL
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience building with AI (LLMs, automation workflows, agent frameworks, or prompt engineering) with examples you can speak to
  • Experience working with real-world or messy datasets
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar tools through coursework or projects
  • Ability to approach problems in a structured and logical way
  • Interest in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce
  • Embodies SharkNinja's Success Drivers:
    • Rarely Satisfied - Adopt a 'no delays' mentality in delivering against market needs/timing
    • Progress over Perfection - Make quick, daily progress and continuously adapt to achieve results rather than requiring perfect planning
    • Details Make the Difference - Brings rigor to data preparation, model assumptions, and analytical outputs; understands that the quality of an AI output is only as good as the quality of the input
    • Winning is a Team Sport - Ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships
    • Communicate for Impact - Strong communication skills; ability to deliver effective presentations to all levels of management

Please note that, due to the high volume of applications for early talent roles, response times may vary depending on the specific role and timeline. Our team appreciates your patience!
