Senior Java AWS Developer

Our Randstad client in DC is in search of a proficient Senior Java AWS Developer to enhance their team. This role demands expertise in Java coding coupled with AWS cloud development, encompassing technologies like Spring Boot, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB/Aurora, and Redshift. The ideal candidate will excel in J2EE technologies, possess a comprehensive understanding of SDLC methodologies, and wield modern software build and DevOps tools with finesse.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Java expertise in conjunction with AWS cloud development technologies, including Spring Boot, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB/Aurora, and Redshift.
  • Employ Object-Oriented design patterns for the development of customer enhancements and maintenance tasks.
  • Exhibit proficiency in J2EE technologies such as Hibernate, Servlets, JNDI, JMS, JDBC, SOAP, and Rest-based Web services, while excelling in concurrent programming.
  • Apply extensive experience in Oracle/SQL, MQ, Web Services, XSLT, JAXB, JDOM, EJB, JSON, JNDI, HTTPS, JSP, HTML, Security Models, JAAS, Role-Based Security, and encryption techniques.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and SDLC methodologies such as waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Utilize modern software build tools like Maven and DevOps tools such as Git/Bitbucket Jenkins, ansible, and AWS code commit/build/deploy tools for seamless project execution.
