Job Posting: Korean/Japanese/Spanish Video Quality Specialist

Location: Onsite in Austin, TX

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 10 AM - 7 PM (40 hours per week)

Are you passionate about digital video and the film and TV industry? Do you have strong technical video knowledge, bilingual language skills, and a background in video editing? If so, we invite you to join our onsite Welocalize team in Austin, TX!

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot video/system playback issues and propose short and long-term solutions.
  • Respond quickly and decisively to technical issues in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Identify trends in video/audio issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to meet project goals.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience working with digital video.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Korean/ Japanese / Spanish) 
  • Strong knowledge of digital video and audio technical issues.
  • Passion for the film and TV industry and familiarity with subscription video content services and product offerings.
  • Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and adapt to changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in identifying and solving video playback issues.
