Job description

Are you a master of social media storytelling? Or perhaps a broadcast journalism pro looking to break free from the traditional newsroom? This is the perfect role for a high-energy "one-man band" who can do it all: report, film, and edit.
We are looking for a dynamic Multimedia Journalists & Content Creators to become the faces and voices of our local markets (Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin).
You won't just be reporting the news; you'll be producing it from start to finish. We need someone who can capture high-quality content independently and turn it around at a rapid-fire pace.
What You'll Do
  • Be the Talent: Appear on-camera as a reporter and personality.
  • Be the Crew: Act as your own videographer and audio tech using autonomous drones, tripods, and mobile gear.
  • Be the Editor: Produce, cut, and deliver polished news stories ready for social media and broadcast.
  • High Volume Output: Produce 1-2 compelling news stories per half-day session (4-5 hours).
  • Move Fast: Thrive in a rapid-delivery environment where "speed to market" is a core value.
What We're Looking For
  • Verified Experience: You must have a substantiated background in TV Broadcast News OR a significant, proven following as a digital content creator.
  • Technical Independence: You must be a "one-man band." You should be comfortable operating solo without a production crew, utilizing autonomous drones and professional camera setups.
  • Local Expertise: You must be local to the market you are applying for and have reliable transportation.
  • Pressure-Tested: You have a personal drive to expedite deliveries and can handle the "apply pressure to yourself" nature of a fast-paced news environment.
