Please note this is a Full Time, Thurs to Sunday roll with four 10 hours shifts.

This is Full Time, Thursday to Sunday, four 10's from 6am to 4:30pm.

Primary Duties

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Execute janitorial duties at HAFB to include, but not limited to, cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, vacuuming assigned areas, high and low dusting, and emptying trash.
  • Assist in transporting crews to assigned work areas daily.
  • Perform a specific designated task - i.e. train, floor scheduler, supervise swing or 4x10 shift.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

  • May perform supervisory duties in the absence of their supervisor.
  • Conduct quality inspections on janitorial workers.

Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s)

  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) preferred.
  • Two years' prior custodial experience required.
  • Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel required. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Abilty to pass and maintain clearance for the HAFB background check.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to communicate verbally and written in English.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Must be familiar with HAFB building locations.
  • Must be familiar with work assigned for shift to be completed.
