Summary

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Duties may include cleaning floors, cleaning staircases, and elevators. Responsible for ensuring common areas are clean including pool area, fitness centers, recreational areas, and all common areas of the community. 

  • Maintains property and or building, building elements, surrounding areas, and furnishing in a sanitary and orderly condition. 
  • Responsible for performing visual observation for janitorial needs on various building components and site amenities and immediately reporting all hazardous and life safety concerns to company management. 
  •  Ability to use various cleansers, and follow procedures for the use of chemical cleansers, and janitorial equipment. 
  •  Respond to janitorial requests and perform duties per work orders or scope of work. 
  •  Assist with coworkers' needs as directed by Management. 
  •  Read all technical data and MSDS information to maintain high-level safety on jobs and follow Safety Code of Conduct. 
  •  Maintain high-level safety on jobs and follow the safety code of conduct.
  •  Performs clean, professional, up-to-code work. 
  •  Communicate field observations and job statuses to Management
  •  Performs all work using best practices. 
  • Attend training and meetings as directed by Management. 
  • Record all time and expenses in ProTec Connect Daily.  


Requirements


Skills and Abilities 

  • General Janitorial: Experience necessary. 
  • Ability to use various cleansers, follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and janitorial equipment 
  • Valid Driver's License without any driving restrictions, no DUI or DWI in the past five years. 
  • Experience in training others about the use of janitorial materials, material applications, and equipment.
  • Ability to use technology including software, and smartphones. 
  • Self-starting capabilities, ability to work unsupervised. 
  • Reliable transportation is required. 
  • Physical Abilities: The ability to lift 25 pounds, work at heights and able to work in extreme weather conditions, able to continually climb, balance, stoop, and kneel sometimes for prolonged periods of time is required.
