What is an ITK?

ITK stands for Insight Toolkit, which is an open-source software system primarily used for image analysis, especially in medical imaging. ITKs are not job titles themselves, but professionals who work with ITK are typically software developers, researchers, or engineers specializing in image processing. They use ITK to develop, analyze, and visualize complex imaging data for scientific and medical applications. Working with ITK often requires knowledge of programming languages like C++ or Python.

What are some common challenges faced by ITK specialists when implementing new information systems in an organization?
