Role: CMDB and HAM process consultant

Location – Charlotte, North Carolina (Preferred) or anywhere in USA - Remote

In this role as Consultant for Asset and Configuration Management, you will be responsible for the design, defining governance structure, conducting process and tools training and providing directions for continuous improvement of this process. You will be the accountable to ensure alignment of the process with organizational goals and ITIL best practices. You will  collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units to drive process excellence, maintain service quality, and enhance operational efficiency.
 
What You Should Bring:
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic and customer-focused mindset.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, or Lean methodologies.
Experienced with service management tools such as ServiceNow, BMC, Jira, Cherwell. Certifications on relevant tool modules is a plus.
Experience with designing , implementing and maintaining CMDB following industry best practices
Experience in creation of process documents, solution road maps and Service improvement plans.
Awareness of CSDM4 beyond definitions on how it can be implemented on an organisational CMDB
Experience in maintaining and improving the lifecycle and governance of Hardware asset management.
Experience in working with DAAS/PCAAS and Traditional On-Premises Desktop delivery structure in HAM
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting, Ability to work with various data sources and data types.
Knowledge of service management industry best practices
Ability to demonstrate and understand how to effectively measure the process effectiveness and efficiency.
Ability to train and influence others to follow the process
Self-management skills with a focus on results for prompt and accurate completion of challenging work.
Experience in IT Operations, Service Delivery, or IT Governance.
Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage change effectively.
Develop business cases for improvements.
