Job description

About PlanITROI:

At PlanITROI, we believe technology should create opportunities, not waste. Through industry-leading IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), refurbishment, repair, redeployment, and resale services, we help organizations maximize the value of their technology investments while extending device lifecycles and making affordable technology accessible to schools, families, nonprofits, businesses, and communities around the world.

We are seeking a highly organized, execution-driven, and results-oriented ITAD Operations Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will assist with inventory accuracy, quality control processes, cross-departmental coordination, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills with proficiency in inventory management systems and data validation tools to drive operational efficiency, support asset disposition processes, and contribute to business objectives through accurate reporting and reliable day-to-day execution.

Position Overview:

PlanITROI is seeking a reliable, highly organized, and execution-driven ITAD Operations Coordinator to join our growing Center of Excellence team. This role is an integral part of our mission to build the world's greatest IT asset disposition and refurbishment operation. As an ITAD Operations Coordinator, you will serve as a critical connector across our receiving, audit, and inventory control functions ensuring that technology assets are accurately tracked, validated, and processed in support of PlanITROI's Lifecycle Services mission.

This is more than a coordination role. It is a data integrity role, an inventory accountability role, and a mission-critical position within PlanITROI's operational ecosystem where every unit you track and reconcile represents our commitment to operational excellence, environmental responsibility, and delivering high-quality, reliable technology to customers, students, families, and organizations who depend on affordable computing.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-focused, and technically curious, with a strong ability to manage competing priorities and a commitment to accuracy and process adherence.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven warehouse environment, take pride in maintaining data integrity between physical assets and system records, and are motivated to identify discrepancies, locate missing inventory, and uphold quality standards at every step. If you want to be part of a team that is building the future of ITAD, refurbishment, and sustainable technology, this is your opportunity!

This is a Temp-to-Perm role with a 90-day conversion opportunity.

Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM- 4:00 PM.

Rate based upon experience: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify inbound and outbound shipping orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with PlanITROI's operational standards.
  • Inspect and process donation orders, validating unit condition, grading, and documentation in alignment with established quality guidelines.
  • Conduct random quality control inspections across all departments to identify discrepancies, enforce process adherence, and uphold production standards.
  • Locate and reconcile lost or missing units by investigating system records and coordinating with the appropriate departments to resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Support cycle counts as needed, assisting with physical inventory verification and ensuring accurate reconciliation between system data and on-hand assets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Follow company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education, training, or hands-on experience in information technology, computer auditing, quality control or computer repair.
  • Proficiency in computer hardware and software, including BIOS configuration and upgrade utilities.
  • Experience in configuring, maintaining, and upgrading PC workstations and peripherals.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical and non-technical concepts both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

The expected salary range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. Upon conversion, PlanITROI offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and more. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity at all levels of the organization.
