Role Summary
The IT Consultant (Strategy Management) supports the IT Senior Consultant in executing strategic initiatives for CBP/DHS Office of Information Technology (OIT). The role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and reporting strategic data while assisting with the development and maintenance of dashboards, visualization tools, and IT policy dissemination platforms. The consultant will help improve strategic reporting and decision-making through data management and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support OIT strategy management initiatives and reporting activities.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain strategic IT data.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining CBP/DHS dashboards and data visualization tools.
  • Generate reports and metrics for leadership.
  • Support CBP/DHS IT policy development and dissemination efforts.
  • Maintain data accuracy and ensure timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic planning initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • IT support
    • Data analysis and reporting
    • Strategic data management
  • Experience working in CBP/DHS or a similar federal IT environment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar); CBP/DHS dashboard experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
