ABOUT THIS ROLE

The IT Director will lead the strategic direction, implementation, and day-to-day management of technology systems across Wawona's operations. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure that supports both production facilities in Clovis and Fresno, CA.

The IT Director will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Quality, and Leadership to align technology solutions with business goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term growth.


DUTIES INCLUDEIT Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute the company's IT strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead and mentor IT staff, ensuring strong performance and professional development
  • Serve as a key advisor to leadership on technology investments and innovations
Infrastructure & Systems Management
  • Oversee all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud systems, and cybersecurity
  • Ensure system reliability and uptime across both production facilities and corporate functions
  • Manage ERP systems, production systems, and business applications
Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ensure protection of company data, systems, and intellectual property
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, data privacy requirements, and internal controls
Operational Support
  • Support plant operations by ensuring technology systems meet production needs
  • Oversee IT support services, including helpdesk, hardware, and software troubleshooting
  • Ensure timely resolution of system issues impacting business operations
Project Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new technology implementations
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and digital tools
  • Standardize systems, processes, and documentation across both facilities
Vendor & Budget Management
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and consultants
  • Oversee IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance business performance

REQUIREMENTSRequired:
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles
  • Strong experience with IT infrastructure, networking, and enterprise systems (ERP preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional technology initiatives
  • Experience in manufacturing, food production, or industrial environments
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and data protection
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to travel between Clovis and Fresno locations
Preferred:
  • Experience in food manufacturing or highly regulated environments
  • Familiarity with GFSI/SQF or similar audit/compliance systems
  • Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and modern IT architecture
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

LOCATION

This position will work across our Clovis and Fresno facilities.
