Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking an IT Technical Engineer to evaluate and improve technology infrastructure across their corporate branch offices. The role involves providing technical consultation, managing network systems, and training staff on new technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Technology Assessment: Evaluate the current state of technology infrastructure, including networking, audio/visual, multimedia, conference room equipment, and end-user technologies in corporate branch offices.
• Systems Engineering:
• Technical Consultation: Provide expert advice on necessary technical requirements, upgrades, and improvements to enhance security, efficiency and performance in these environments.
• System Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software systems as needed.
• Network Management: Set-up, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and security.
• Multimedia and AV Support: Maintain and support audio/visual and multimedia equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
• User Training: Train branch office staff on the use of new technologies and systems, ensuring they are comfortable and proficient.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of assessments, recommendations, and implemented solutions for branch offices.
• Travel: 25%-40% travel (US Domestic).
Qualifications:
Required:
• Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5 - 10 years' experience in a combination of IT support, infrastructure systems and tools, network management, and multimedia systems.
