Job description

SUMMARY
The role of the IT Specialist is to provide technical support and assistance for a variety of information technology assets & systems, including Account management, PC's, printers, servers, applications, cell phones
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance.
  • Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
  • Improves knowledge base by writing and maintaining documentation.
  • Participates in development of client training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending instructional language.
  • Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.
  • Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
  • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Travel to remote sites on a rotational basis to provide excellent support solutions to business needs (including after hours or as needed)
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Provide on-call support as needed (including after hours)

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Experience
  • AD management - user creation/termination, group management, password resets, etc
  • M365 admin
  • SIP based phone systems
  • Citrix Cloud/Netscaler
  • Application management - M365, Adobe, Autocad LT, ArtiosCAD
  • Experience with M365 suite
  • CompTIA A+ cert, Sec+ cert, Net+, M365 certs preferred
  • Ability to utilize remote access
