Job Title: Manufacturing IT Support Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for a manufacturing environment. This role supports IT infrastructure, business applications, and end-user technologies while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable plant operations. The position offers the opportunity to work with both legacy manufacturing systems and modern technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide IT operations and technical support for applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools.
  • Support a multi-shift manufacturing environment, including flexible hours and occasional weekend production support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to plant-floor systems and IT infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with corporate IT and business stakeholders to prioritize system improvements.
  • Support incident resolution by providing triage, executing business continuity procedures, and assisting escalation teams.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure support teams, including database, server, operations control, and network teams.
  • Assist with the integration and long-term maintenance of applications and hardware.
  • Support workload management and assignments as directed by IT leadership.
  • Develop, maintain, and share accurate technical support documentation.
  • Support local network equipment in a Cisco-based environment.
  • Support physical and virtual Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Assist with the deployment and support of IIoT, software-defined networking, mobile, iOS, and Android-based technologies.

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Operations, IT Support, or a related field.
  • Experience with technical troubleshooting and operations support.
  • Experience providing technical customer support in an enterprise environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work onsite with flexible hours in support of a multi-shift operation.
  • Ability to provide weekend production support when required.
