Overview

Lutron is seeking an Information Technology Specialist Intern to join our collaborative team and contribute to high-impact projects. In this role working directly with our technology leads, you will apply your technical knowledge of computer systems, cybersecurity, data analytics, programming languages, and networking to plan, support, and execute Information Technology projects that deliver measurable business value and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

Your internship at Lutron could offer you the opportunity to work on: 

  • IT platforms that manage device configuration and compliance 

  • Continuous improvement projects incorporating the latest IT technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity principles   

  • Collaborate with team members using strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Driving active projects in partnership with crossfunctional teams 

  • Learning and applying newly adopted tools and technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability 

    Qualifications

We seek talented, success-minded people with the desire and ability to make things happen. Our baseline requirements are simple: 

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent degree in the IT field 
  • Your cumulative GPA is at least a 3.20 
  • You are a rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of the internship

  • You have broad interests in Information Technology, design and development  
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position

  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
