Information Technology Specialist – Immediate -Open to Full or Part-Time

General Information

For over 90 years, Con Yeager Spice Co. is a family-owned and operated spice-distributing and seasoning-manufacturing company, serving commercial and retail customers. Our roots are, and continue to be, strongly anchored in the meat-processing industry.  We currently have a need for an IT Specialist.  Ideally, the candidate demonstrates a positive team player attitude which is as important to us as the technical skills for the role. 


Duties and Responsibilities for IT Specialist:
*
Forward facing IT support for all departments

* Assist with help desk related tasks

* Install (adds, moves, changes), maintain and configure end user hardware, software, including PCs,

   printers, networked copiers, and scanners when required

* Support hardware and software systems used for warehouse and manufacturing operations
* Logs and tracks support issues with trouble ticket software

* Liaises by phone and email with hardware vendors, ISP providers, and 3d parties who support company equipment


Qualifications for IT Specialist:

* Strong customer service orientation with excellent people skills 

* Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems  (10 & 11) and MS 365 Applications

* Strong troubleshooting skills

* Ability to work with minimal supervision and other times as part of a team

* Highly self- motivated

* Effective time management and problem resolution skills

* Strong written and oral communication skills via phone, email and primarily in person for desk-side support
* Enjoys learning about specialized line-of-business applications that run the company
