ABOUT THIS ROLE

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a domain IT Project Manager to provide dedicated, embedded support to a specific product domain team. As a domain IT Project Manager, you will work closely with your assigned domain team to drive successful delivery, ensure process adherence, and create transparency across all domain initiatives.

This role sits within the Product Delivery team and serves as the execution partner to product and engineering teams.

What You Will Do

Domain-Specific Execution

  • Facilitate domain-specific program syncs, standups, and team coordination
  • Support the domain's quarterly planning and capacity management
  • Track domain initiatives, features, and epic health
  • Manage dependencies within and across domains

Process & Hygiene

  • Ensure Jira hygiene and adherence to product operating model for the domain
  • Guide domain teams on change management and prioritization processes
  • Maintain accurate data in Jira Plan View for domain work
  • Support teams in following established standards and best practices

Visibility & Reporting

  • Provide visibility into what the domain team is working on and why
  • Report on domain program status to leadership
  • Track and communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies
  • Bridge communication between domain teams and leadership
What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management, preferably in product or technology organizations
  • Deep expertise with Jira and Confluence (administration, workflows, reporting)
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and dependencies
  • Excellent communication skills-ability to translate technical complexity for different audiences
  • Experience with capacity planning, roadmapping, and quarterly planning processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services or fintech
  • Certifications: PMP, SAFe, Certified Scrum Master, or similar
  • Background supporting product/engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with advanced Jira features (Advanced Roadmaps, automation, JQL)
  • Experience with change management and process improvement initiatives
