POSITIONBACKGROUND

The IT Project Coordinator at Ketek Group Inc. plays a pivotal role inthe successful planning, execution, and closure of technology initiatives. Thisdynamic role is responsible for the end-to-end organization, tracking, andcoordination of IT Projects, including contributing to requirements gathering,analysis and solution design.  TheProject Coordinator works closely with the Solutions Architect andcross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, continuous improvement, andstrategic alignment across all technological endeavors. 


CORE DUTIES

Project Planning & Coordination

       Develop and maintain projectplans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure IT projects arewell-organized and progress efficiently.

       Monitor project progress, identifypotential deviations from the plan, and assist in implementing correctiveactions to keep projects on track.

       Coordinate meetings, facilitatecommunication between project stakeholders, and ensure timely dissemination ofproject updates and decisions.

       Track and manage projectdeliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed withinestablished timelines.

       Support the Solutions Architectand IT Manager in prioritizing IT initiatives based on business value andresource availability.

       Assist in gathering anddocumenting business requirements from stakeholders, translating them intofunctional specifications for IT projects.

       Participate in the analysis ofexisting systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and proposetechnology-based solutions.

       Support the Solutions Architect indefining solution scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment withbusiness needs.

       Contribute to the design andtesting of new IT solutions, ensuring they meet user requirements and aresuccessfully implemented.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

       Effectively communicate projectstatus, risks, and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

       Provide timely and proactiveupdates to stakeholders on project status, issue resolution, changes in scope,and cost implications, ensuring transparency and building trust.

       Facilitate stakeholder engagementto gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout theproject lifecycle.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

       Create, maintain, and governcomprehensive documentation for IT projects, including project plans,schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports, ensuring clarity andaccessibility for various audiences.

       Ensure all project documentationis up-to-date and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.

       Develop and maintain detaileddocumentation of system requirements, functional specifications, and solutiondesigns.

Process Improvement & Support

       Identify and addressinefficiencies in existing project management processes and workflows,championing solutions that enhance productivity.

       Collaborate in the design andsupport the implementation of project management tools and methodologies thatalign with business objectives.

       Proactively seek out opportunitiesfor improvement and innovation in project coordination, proposing and implementingcreative solutions that drive business value.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required

       Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Information Technology, Software Engineering or Practical Equivalent.

       Two or more years of experiencerelated to IT project coordination, project management, or other InformationTechnology roles.

       Two or more years of experience introubleshooting and customer service.

       Fluent in the English language (reading,written, spoken).

       Demonstrated ability tocommunicate complexities of technical programs to both technical andnon-technical audiences.

       Ability to handle multiple tasksand frequent demanding deadlines.

       Ability to handle changingschedules and priorities, with high-level prioritization skills.

       Strong work ethic andorganizational planning skills with attention to detail.

       Ability to deal with the public ina positive, courteous, and respectful manner.

       Ability to work independently andas part of a team.

       Effectiveverbal and listening communication skills.

Preferred

       Experience with Virtualization.

       Familiarity with Google Suite.
