 IT Project/Program Manager (Loan Origination & Servicing Platform Modernization)Position Overview

Itero Group is seeking an experienced IT Project/Program Manager to support strategic technology modernization initiatives focused on a Loan Origination & Loan Servicing Platform upgrade. This individual will lead cross-functional teams responsible for delivering enterprise technology solutions that enhance lending operations, servicing workflows, reporting, integrations, and overall operational efficiency.

This role is ideal for a hands-on Project/Program Manager who can effectively operate across both business and technical environments while driving complex enterprise initiatives from planning through implementation and production support. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting enterprise application projects within financial services, banking, lending, or other highly regulated industries and possess the ability to coordinate stakeholders across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of commercial banking system upgrade, conversion, and enhancement initiatives.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and resource planning.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending, Credit, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to define business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate ACBS integrations with upstream and downstream applications, APIs, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
  • Oversee data conversion, migration, reconciliation, and production cutover activities.
  • Lead project governance, executive reporting, RAID management, and steering committee meetings.
  • Coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), production readiness, and deployment activities.
  • Manage internal delivery teams, vendors, and third-party implementation partners.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve lending processes and operational efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of overall project and program management experience.
  • 5+ years managing enterprise financial services technology initiatives.
  • 2+ years leading large-scale program initiatives.
  • Experience managing commercial lending, loan servicing, or loan origination technology projects.
  • Experience with enterprise system implementations, integrations, and data migration.
  • Strong project governance, executive communication, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System).
  • Commercial lending or syndicated lending experience.
  • Experience with loan servicing platforms, commercial banking systems, or core banking modernization.
  • Knowledge of APIs, data integration, ETL, and cloud-based financial platforms.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience working within regulated financial services environments.
