Complete Description:
The district government's Procurement Automated Support System (PASS) Modernization Project is replacing the existing on-premises procurement management system with a new state-of-the-art cloud solution (Oracle). The client seeks a Technical IT Project Manager to support client by providing technical feedback and coordinating and aligning the work of partner agencies responsible for updating system architecture, data warehousing, and integration with other key District systems, including the Contracts and Procurement Transparency Portal. The Technical IT Project Manager will report to the Project Management Office of the Division of Systems, Data & Performance. This position will leverage technical project management expertise to oversee planning, coordination, integration, and reporting activities to ensure all technology components are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with the overall modernization strategy
Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience. Required 20 Years
• PMP or other project-management certification. Required
• Managing IT projects or major technical workstreams within large, complex modernization efforts. Required 16 Years
• Experience coordinating or managing the work of partner agencies, third-party vendors, or external technical teams. Required 16 Years
