Senior Project Manager

Cube Root is seeking a Project Manager to support our team for various projects for our client nationwide. These will be small projects, typically under $10M, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems work.

The Senior Project Manager will serve as an Owner’s Representative, and will possess knowledge, skills, and experience in all areas of project management including estimating, scheduling, design management, bid phase, constructability reviews, project accounting, contract management, client management and other related project management skills to oversee the completion of the assigned project. The selected candidate will ensure the project meets the owner’s design and engineering requirements and standards. The Senior Project Manager is expected to balance the technical aspects of the project’s scope of work while effectively advocating for the Owner and working seamlessly with the variety of professionals providing service on the project.

The Senior Project Manager will serve as an Owner’s Representative, and will possess knowledge, skills, and experience in all areas of project management including estimating, scheduling, design management, bid phase, constructability reviews, project accounting, contract management, client management and other related project management skills to oversee the completion of the assigned project. The selected candidate will ensure the project meets the owner’s design and engineering requirements and standards. QualificationsSr Project Manager/Owner Rep Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, interior design, or related field.

Active PMP Certification or scheduled to obtain PMP Certification within six (6) months of initial contract award. Must provide date for exams at the time of contract award.

5 - 7+ years of progressive experience and responsibilities in managing building design/construction projects for commercial, government, educational, etc.

5+ years of project management experience directly managing Design and Construction Projects as an Owner Representative. Demonstrated experience managing designers and contractors.
