As a Technical Project Manager, you will act as a trusted partner to government project managers, bringing your strategic and tactical project expertise to ensure the success of high-visibility, no-fail projects. Beyond driving IT and communications projects of varying scale and scope to successful completion, you will take full ownership of project outcomes-actively managing risks, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables meet expectations. You will be accountable not just for managing tasks and timelines, but for delivering measurable results and fostering a culture of responsibility and commitment within the teams you work with.

You Have:
  • Experience leading complex, enterprise-scale IT initiatives in high-visibility, mission-critical environments
  • Experience successfully delivering technical projects with significant operational impact, tight timelines, and high stakeholder scrutiny
  • Experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles across multiple engineering domains
  • Experience developing and managing project artifacts, such as RTMs, IMS, and RAID logs
  • Experience working within structured governance environments, including configuration control boards and technical review boards
  • Ability to operate as a senior technical advisor to executive leadership, translating complex technical issues into actionable decisions
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business field and 8+ years of experience in managing IT projects, or 12+ years of experience in managing IT projects in lieu of degree

  • 15+ years of experience with IT Project Management
  • Experience supporting high-visibility Government programs, such as DoD, IC, or other regulated environments, with strict compliance and reporting requirements

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
