Job Summary:
The Hill at Whitemarsh is seeking an IT Project Manager to provide expertise in project management and business analyst tasks for various initiatives. The role involves coordinating resources, developing project plans, overseeing technology training, and maintaining documentation while managing financial aspects of enterprise projects.
Responsibilities:
• Provide expertise in project management and business analyst tasks on initiatives of various size and scale
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Developing project plans and processes to monitor and track progress
• Oversee community wide technology training initiatives
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
• Delegate project tasks based on skillsets of internal staff and third party vendors
• Communicate regularly with management and all users of information services and systems
• Maintain a risk register to set expectations regarding risk management
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and upgrades
• Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements
• Manage financial aspects of enterprise projects
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, procurement, and service provisioning
• Negotiate and manage vendor relationships
• Support the community’s overall mission, following all standards, policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.
Qualifications:
Required:
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education and experience
• Advanced technical or managerial credentials
• Ten or more years of progressive IT experience as a project manager
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to take initiative in the development and completion of projects
• Strong project management, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills
