What You’ll Do (Essential Job Functions):

  • Own end-to-end IT infrastructure projects across networking, identity, endpoint management, and backup/DR, including scope, design, timeline, risk, execution, handoff, and sustainment
  • Design, implement, test, and execute backup and disaster recovery solutions, including hands-on DR exercises
  • Build out new sites, network segments, and Azure/GCC High platform migrations with minimal disruption to users
  • Implement infrastructure-level security controls (firewall rules, endpoint hardening, access controls) in coordination with the security team
  • Direct MSP and contractor work on assigned projects, ensuring deliverables meet timeline, quality, and requirements
  • Produce clear, repeatable documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials to enable the IT services team to sustain systems and processes
  • Coordinate with vendors, MSPs, and internal stakeholders on procurement, licensing, implementation timelines, and requirements
  • Validate system changes and performance against internal security and compliance requirements, partnering with the compliance/GRC team on audit and control needs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance during evenings/weekends and respond to ad hoc infrastructure needs as projects require
  • Partner with the IT Director to develop and prioritize the project roadmap
  • Serve as escalation point for complex issues on owned systems (excluding day-to-day service queue)
  • Other duties as assigned


What You’ll Bring (Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

⎻Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or another export-controlled industry.

⎻Relevant certifications (CCNP, NSE, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, or similar) — nice to have, not a substitute for demonstrated project delivery experience.

⎻Experience working alongside (not managing) a separate service-desk/support function, with a track record of clean handoffs.

⎻Strong written documentation skills — this role must be able to hand off cleanly to a support team that wasn't in the room for the build.

⎻Comfortable working in a regulated/compliance-driven environment; familiarity with frameworks like FIPS 140, NIST 800-171, CMMC, or ITAR-adjacent data handling is a plus.

Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Minimum of 8 years in a similar role, such as network engineer, infrastructure engineer, and/or systems administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with enterprise networking and endpoint management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project Management with proven ability to lead and execute end-to-end technical projects
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide appropriate documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility as required by applicable law.
  • Must qualify as a “U.S.” Persons as defined in 22 CFR § 120.62 under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in order to comply with applicable export control laws and regulations.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug screening in accordance with the Company’s drug testing policy and applicable law.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background checkin accordance withthe Company’s screening policy and applicable law.
