IT Project Manager
Location: San Antonio, Texas (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives focused on application and infrastructure modernization, and vulnerability remediation programs. The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing cross-functional teams, coordinating technical resources, and delivering projects that improve security posture, modernize legacy environments, and align technology investments with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for technology modernization and cybersecurity remediation initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate activities across infrastructure, application development, cybersecurity, architecture, and business teams.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings, status reporting, and executive updates.
  • Manage modernization initiatives involving legacy application upgrades, cloud migrations, infrastructure refreshes, and platform consolidations.
  • Lead enterprise vulnerability remediation programs addressing infrastructure, operating systems, databases, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Partner with business leaders, security teams, IT leadership, vendors, and external partners.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of IT Project Management experience, including over 3 years managing technology modernization or infrastructure upgrade projects and over 3 years managing vulnerability remediation or cybersecurity initiatives.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity principles is required. Experience with creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and RAID logs is necessary.
