IT Operations Manager Flint, MI

The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all technology operations across the organization. This role provides strategic leadership, ensures system reliability and security, and manages day-to-day IT activities. The IT Operations Manager leads internal IT staff, manages external vendors, and ensures technology initiatives align with business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage organizational IT operations and long-term technology strategy
  • Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including security, access, and configuration
  • Manage IT staff, including support personnel and future team expansion
  • Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices, including MFA, endpoint protection, and continuous monitoring
  • Manage vendor relationships (internet, phone systems, software providers, infrastructure partners)
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper system access controls
  • Monitor system performance, ensuring uptime, reliability, and proactive issue resolution
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and cost-optimization initiatives
  • Lead IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvements
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and organizational requirements
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and configurations
  • Provide escalation support for complex technical issues
  • Communicate IT performance, risks, and initiatives to executive leadership
