This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.

CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated IT Operations Specialist to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency. The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract. Responsibilities: Serves as a key member of the global, 24/7 operations team supporting all infrastructure, devices, products, and solutions Provides comprehensive Tier 3 support, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, break/fix, and hands-on touch labor across multiple IT domains Coordinates with Engineering resources for advanced troubleshooting Performs scheduled and ad hoc maintenance, updates, and upgrades per authorized service interruption schedules Provides continuous patch management for designated infrastructure (workstations, servers) across all networks and security domains Provides information and coordinates on approved Plan of Action and Milestones Monitors and analyzes capacity, performance, and service-level metrics to maintain optimal infrastructure utilization and prevent incidents Participates in Continual Service Improvement (CSI) by researching new technologies and articulating evolutionary benefits to stakeholders Uses Lab facilities to promote incident resolution and test the feasibility of new designs Develops test cases and scripts for Beta and Acceptance testing to ensure complete coverage prior to deployment Implements the transfer of engineered solutions through Blue/Green fielding Collaborates with Engineering teams and Government stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure system reliability and operability Works with technical writers to develop and maintain SOPs and knowledge base artifacts Aids in creating CDRL documentation, reports, and data A mix of skills and experience with: Operating Systems & Platforms Cloud and On-Prem Storage & Data Management System Patching & Compliance Database & Monitoring Support SharePoint Administration Virtual Desktop Administration A mix of experience with these technologies: Windows Server Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Active Directory & Group Policy (GPO) VMware vSphere / ESXi NetApp (ONTAP) Dell Storage (Data Domain / FluidFS) Storage Area Networks (SAN / NAS) Commvault, Veeam, or Veritas Backup InfoBlox Microsoft SCCM / MECM WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) Red Hat Satellite Nessus / ACAS vulnerability scanners Microsoft SQL Server Oracle Database basics SolarWinds, Splunk, or Microsoft SCOM Basic T-SQL querying Qualifications: Required: Must hold a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+) An AA and 14+ years of experience, BS/BA and 12+ years of experience, MS/MA and 10+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience Applicable vendor, professional or OEM specific certification Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions Ability to coordinate effectively with engineering resources for advanced troubleshooting and work closely with technical writers and engineering peers Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies.
