Spartan Fitness Holdings is seeking a driven and accountable IT Operations Manager to serve as the internal owner of day-to-day technology operations across our corporate office and 160+ studio locations.
This role ensures Spartan maintains internal ownership, visibility, and accountability while partnering with external IT providers for technical execution.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.

Essential Job Functions:
Vendor & Service Oversight
  • Serve as primary liaison to corporate and field IT vendors
  • Monitor ticket queues, SLAs, and escalation performance
  • Review monthly reporting and summarize insights for leadership

IT Operations Leadership
  • Own IT performance visibility and vendor accountability
  • Lead operational reviews and executive summaries
  • Drive clarity in issue ownership and resolution
  • Corporate IT Administration & Oversight
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 licensing and governance
  • Support identity and endpoint management systems
  • Improve documentation and internal standards

Multi-Location Studio Technology Coordination
  • Monitor recurring issues across 160+ locations
  • Coordinate vendor performance and escalation
  • Support infrastructure rollout and new openings
  • Ensure consistent technology standards across locations

Security & Risk Oversight
  • Review security dashboards and incident reports
  • Track remediation and escalate systemic risks
  • Promote adherence to IT security best practices

IT Budget & Process Maturity
  • Track IT spend and vendor costs
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and improvements
  • Assist leadership with IT roadmap visibility

Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and identity management knowledge
  • Analytical and performance-oriented mindset
  • Ability to communicate technical issues at an executive level

EDUCATION & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
  • 5-8 years of IT experience.
  • Experience coordinating managed service providers.
  • Multi-site or franchise experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally (such as files or office materials).
  • Visual ability sufficient for financial review, data entry, and computer work.
  • Ability to work extended hours during monthly close, audits, or peak business cycles as needed.
