Job description

Client: State of California (CalSTRS )
Position: Change Management Consultant
Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: 36 Months
Minimum Skills:
  • As a Project Lead for this engagement and this individual must have successfully delivered at least one (1) project of a similar scope and complexity
  • Must have at least seven (7) years of experience in the area of IT operating model design/implementation, including IT organizational design.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience working with clients to provide Information Technology (IT) consulting services. •
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience developing business architecture with focus on the IT capability.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience facilitating organizational change management.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience performing organizational maturity assessments.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience designing and implementing IT Operating Model solutions in a pension system or financial services organization.
  • Experience designing and implementing IT Operating Model solutions in government agencies, i.e. Federal, State, or County.
  • Experience designing and implementing internal support models for cloud applications/services.
  • Experience managing IT projects using Agile methodologies and knowledge of Agile best practices.
  • Experience managing IT projects using industry standards and best practices such as Project Management Institute (PMI) PMBOK.
  • Experience working directly with executive(s) of a State and/or Federal agency in the USA. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
