  • They may also work within the company, helping meet software needs of departments such as marketing and social media.

Skills:
  • Software consultants also should be able to multitask effectively, able to work independently, and have good business judgment.
  • Software consultants typically are required to have three to five years' experience in computer science and in a consulting environment.
