The Opportunity:
CACI's Enterprise Network Solutions (ENS) is seeking a skilled Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise IT network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of network technologies, network engineering principles, and IT infrastructure. You'll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across federal customer locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Multi-disciplined network engineer to conduct site surveys, design and architect wired and wireless network and IT solutions, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Designs architecture to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
  • Develop detailed system specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide implementation and maintenance.
  • Ensure Network systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models and profiles.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute system deployments.
  • Conduct testing and validation of network solutions to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance network reliability and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, secure buy-in, and ensure server/system solutions align with business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of virtualization configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance
  • Degree: Technical BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: 10 years in IT technologies and network design.
  • Active industry certification in Networking
  • Strong understanding of IT systems architecture principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in network protocols, security, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex network and WiFi architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Specific Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired:
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Active Networking or industry certifications:
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
    • CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
    • CISCO Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
  • Experience in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
  • Knowledge of DoD, USA, and industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements related to server/system solutions.
