SUMMARY:
The Information Technology (IT) IT Technician is responsible for supporting all departments and locations of the Company's computer needs to ensure that electronic communication systems and work operations are efficient, effective, and operational at all times. This position also monitors and manages Company cell phone distribution and fob access to the Corporate Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The IT Technician - IT duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist employees of the company with tasks ranging from:
• Provide support and assistance the IT Manager and Consultant with up line support to staff. Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures are met.
• Ordering computers, monitors, printers, parts, accessories, supplies pertaining to the network and individual users' electronic communication and work needs.
• Installing and preparing computers, cell phones and printers for assignment to employees.
• Troubleshooting computer, phone and printer issues and resolving problems.
• Communicating with IT Technical services for network access and connectivity issues.
• Provides high quality customer service.
• Assist IT Manager and Jr. Network Administrator with ordering phone and internet services.
• Acts as a backup administrator for Silvertrac software.
• Assist with maintaining all IT department spreadsheets with detailed information of o365 passwords, office phone extensions, fobs, codes, and etc.
• Travel to all properties is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Two years related experience and/ or training; or the equivalent of education and experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of current computer software including but not limited to; MS Office, PDF readers/ editors, Yardi, Silvertrac and Summit.
• The individual must understand basic computer hardware, connectivity issues and how to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they occur
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Must be able to push, pull, carry and/ or move up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb/ descend stairs. Work with office equipment including computers, telephones, fax machines, scanners, etc.
• Able to work in high stress situations, prioritize work to meet deadlines that can change rapidly as customer needs change.
COMMUNICATIONS:
• Must be able to communicate (orally and written) in a professional manner on a regular basis employees, management, and co-workers within the company as well as with outside vendors. Must be able to work as part of a team. Follows instructions and responds to management's direction. Takes constructive criticism and uses it as a learning tool.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibility.

ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY:
• Is reliable and consistently at work and on time; willing to travel, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
TRAVEL
• Travel may be required within the Southern California Region and Arizona.
