DISHER is currently partnering with a global, West Michigan company on their need for an IT Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of their computer systems and supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company’s computing needs, including SAP.
Responsibilities:
• Help with training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
• Along with the guidance from our global parent company, ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Maintain the integrity and security of the corporate network, servers, routers, hubs and switches.
• Install, configure, and maintain the appropriate software and hardware on all systems, including servers, computers, laptops, tablets, barcode scanners, printers, operating systems, other software, and necessary peripheral devices.
• Lead the internal help desk to provide IT support to our employees in a timely and professional manner.
• Install, diagnose, and repair wired and wireless networks.
• Work with the IT staff at our global parent company to organize and schedule maintenance, upgrades and backups.
• Maintain logs of repairs, upgrades, and maintenance timeframes.
• Identify computer or network equipment deficiencies and communicate opportunities for improvement to Senior Management.
