ACE Wellness Center is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. The IT Support Specialist will respond to user inquiries, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and assist with the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to staff with equipment and technology
  • Manage inventory of equipment and ensure we have the proper equipment available for new staff
  • Set up equipment and technology for new staff members
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues for current team members
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the team’s needs are met
  • Create job aids and training tools to assist team members with commonly used technology skills
  • Assist in the setup of new offices from a technology perspective
  • Provide website maintenance as needed
  • Provide recommendations to leadership on new technology or software that may be beneficial for agency to invest in
  • Support the implementation of new technology and the team members utilizing a new platform
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and application issues
  • Provide oversight and facilitation to agency’s technology platforms
  • Other duties as assigned
  • In this role you may have to stand, walk, bend, lift moderately heavy packages on a consistent basis
Requirements:

  • Prior experience in technical support, desktop support or another related role
  • Strong knowledge of current technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be an active listener by asking questions and reflecting on what is being said
  • Proficient level of ability with computer; Microsoft Office Products
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate information clearly
  • Ability to offer process improvement suggestions and execute on ideas
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines with changing priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with an electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Previous experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Extensive experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
