Who We're Seeking
Qvest US is seeking a Head of Technology responsible for leading the company's internal technology strategy and ensuring the successful management of all internal systems, and implementation of new systems as needed. You will oversee the development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of internal solutions that meet Qvest team needs and help drive our growth. You will help create and manage to an annual technology budget.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute Qvest's internal technology strategy in alignment with overall business goals
  • Work with the Qvest Leadership team to identify and prioritize key technology related needs within the organization.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Oversee the successful execution of all technology projects, ensuring delivery on time, in scope and within budget
  • Oversee the management and optimization of Qvest's technology infrastructure, ensuring that systems are secure, reliable and scalable
  • Manage risks, issues and bugs, providing transparency of issue status and creating a process of timely resolution
  • Work with CFO and Leadership to develop an annual technology budget and manage to the budget throughout the year
  • Ensure that all systems comply with compliance regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain security of all technology systems to protect company & client data
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on technology strategy, project status, and performance metrics
  • Oversee a team of system owners, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience working in software development & IT infrastructure
  • 2+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record in developing technology strategies and delivering complex projects
  • Strong communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders across all levels and functions in the organization
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including a deep understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale data environments, including data storage, processing, and governance
  • Strong knowledge of data management frameworks, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and data analytics tools
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies
  • Expertise in identifying vulnerabilities, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with security standards
  • Proven experience in establishing rigorous quality control processes & tools
  • Expertise in implementing testing protocols, ensuring adherence to industry standards
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
