What You Will Be Doing:
You will be the Lockheed Martin AFS, U-2 Inventory/Material Supply Technician for the Depot Level Maintenance Teams, responsible for Parts, tools and supply functions within scope of the U-2 Aircraft stationed at Beale AFB, California.
*Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
*Establish and Maintain (WIP) Work In Progress parts and supply. Store components in a safe and organized designed in accordance with Lockheed Martin and Local Procedures. Overall site focal point for tools Hazardous Chemicals and Bench stock items and all inventory Management.
*Performs nonstandard and complex tasks using advanced techniques and in-depth discipline knowledge. Analyzes requirements for special projects, recommends methods and processes, conducts research, and assists in investigational studies. Supports the design and development of new or modified equipment, methods, or systems for enhanced performance. Evaluates and resolves calibration and troubleshooting issues.
*Demonstrates expertise in specialized functions, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of general and technical aspects of the job. Applies knowledge to solve complex problems and handle challenging situations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secretclearance to start. Candidate must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently.
