Job Description

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the management of one or multiple moderately complex projects concurrently. This position will be a contract and onsite in Miramar, FL, with up to 25% global travel.

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage large-scale IT operational fleet projects (shipboard) from inception through handover to the Deployment Team for execution

  • Coordinate cross-team efforts, manage business and IT expectations, scope definition, scope management, and documentation

  • Validate budgets, oversee procurement processes, facilitate design conversations, and obtain sign-off

  • Communicate project progress and details with senior management through discussions and formal presentations

  • Define and drive project schedules, manage vendors, and align project goals with IT strategic technology and process goals

  • Support deployment activities as needed, including planning and delivery of IT scope for Dry Docks

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 3-5+ years of infrastructure project management experience

  • Familiarity with project methodologies in a Waterfall environment

  • Understanding of Enterprise Technologies and their application

  • Proficiency in MS Projects or similar tools

  • Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills

  • Excellent communication skills for business presentations and large audience discussions

  • HR skills, including team building, performance evaluations, coaching, and problem-solving

  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%)

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferred:

  • PMP certification

  • Previous shipboard experience

  • Experience managing large, complex projects

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$60-$65 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
