What You Will Accomplish with Us

Manager, IT Service Delivery, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all IT services provided to the Industrial Alliance, Auto and Home Insurance sector.
  • Advising internal partners on the selection and implementation of IT solutions, including the acquisition and integration of software packages, shared and reusable services, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Overseeing the performance of solution delivery under your responsibility, including security, vendors, financial data, project health, production environments, and compliance.
  • Leading the delivery of IT services and solutions in alignment with business needs, Information Technology Vice-Presidency objectives, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensuring compliance with established processes, policies, and standards, particularly in project management, design, development, procurement, configuration, testing, and compliance.
  • Managing business needs, applications, information, data, infrastructure, and services while maintaining ongoing communication with business sector leaders.
  • Planning and overseeing the financial, material, and human resources of your department, and reporting on performance to senior management.

What Will Help You Succeed in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of equivalent standing.
  • Has 15 years of relevant and extensive experience in information technology.
  • Possesses significant experience managing multiple project teams as well as large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrates expertise in preparing and presenting business cases for major IT initiatives, as well as in the strategic planning of corporate IT development directions.
  • Excels at managing relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to support the achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Has a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, Lean principles, and IT operating and capital budgeting processes.
  • Is recognized for strong leadership, learning agility, intellectual curiosity, communication skills, the ability to mobilize teams through change, and a strong interest in people development.
  • Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry is considered an asset.
  • Has an intermediate level of English proficiency and an advanced level of French proficiency, as the role requires communicating with unilingual English- and French-speaking external vendors on an almost daily basis.
