Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, implementation, security, and day-to-day operation of our enterprise technology environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of the organization’s infrastructure, including cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, telecommunications, disaster recovery, and end-user support. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology leader who combines strong technical expertise with strategic planning, team leadership, vendor management, and project execution capabilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining business continuity, supporting organizational growth, and driving technology initiatives that enable business success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the administration and ongoing optimization of the company’s network, servers, cloud platforms, and core IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise systems and services.
  • Oversee network architecture, including routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN connectivity, wireless networking, and network segmentation.
  • Manage server environments, backup systems, storage solutions, and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure Cloud Services, Active Directory, and identity management solutions.
  • Lead cybersecurity operations including endpoint protection, email security, vulnerability management, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Partner with security vendors and managed security providers to monitor and respond to threats.
  • Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, including regular testing and validation.
  • Lead Infrastructure and Help Desk teams, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and provide technical guidance, mentoring, and professional development to team members.
  • Lead infrastructure modernization projects, technology upgrades, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage technology budgets, hardware lifecycle planning, software licensing, vendor relationships, contracts, and capital expenditures.
  • Participate in technology governance initiatives, including AI and emerging technology evaluations.

 

Qualifications:

Education, Experience & Technical Expertise:

  • 7+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience managing enterprise network, server, cloud, and cybersecurity environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience managing vendors, service providers, contracts, and technology procurements.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, Cisco, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, ITIL, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience supporting compliance-driven environments and security audits preferred.
