Precision Resources, a division of The Trimarc Group, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Tier 1 IT Helpdesk Analyst to join our client in Birmingham, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity with a growing organization and offers the ability to work 3 days from home each week. This position requires someone to work between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday. The primary role of the Tier 1 IT Helpdesk Analyst is to serve as the main point of contact for supporting all first level IT support needs. This individual will work in a team to ensure coverage for various methods of inbound activity. This position requires a strict adherence to providing detailed documentation and following already-established processes and escalation procedures. Position Duties/Responsibilities: โ€ขMinimum 1 year of enterprise IT Helpdesk support experience in a WINDOWs environment. โ€ขManage user accounts with working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, Entra and Intune. โ€ขFamiliarity with supporting Citrix, VPNs, computer networking and TCP protocols. โ€ขProvides Tier One Support to end users including but not limited to workstations, proprietary software and desktop applications, printers, mobile devices, A/V equipment, network and internet connectivity. โ€ขCollaborate with helpdesk peers and other technology departments such as in systems engineering, network, application development, software testing for problem escalation and problem resolution. โ€ขSchedule install of new hardware or software and/or existing workstation revisions with user. โ€ขPrevious experience working with an enterprise ITSM like ServiceNow, Avanti, Remedy to record and categorize all helpdesk incidents. โ€ขTrack and provide accurate documentation of issues โ€ขUnderstanding of Windows OS desktop/laptops technologies as well as capability to research and escalate complex issues to management, senior team members, or other Information Services personnel as required.
