IT Helpdesk

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
  • Rack and stacking Server, lifting up to 50lb weight.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
  • Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
  • Install and configure systems which support infrastructure and/or R&D activities.
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
  • Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Conducting daily backup operations.
  • Managing technical documentation.

  • Asset Management, includes 4 physical asset audits per year
  • Need to track inventory any time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
  • A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation advantageous.
  • Forman deployment experience
  • Ansible experience
  • RHEL, CENTOS, ROCKY, UBUNTU, and other Linux base OS installation, management, and support
  • Asset Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
