Overview

Brinkmann Constructors is hiring an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide support for end users across all offices and remote locations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience providing IT support for mid-to-large sized organizations. Environment is primarily a Microsoft Windows environment utilizing Office 365 and Azure. 

Responsibilities
  • Installing and configuring hardware, software, and peripheral for end users
  • Upgrading laptop computers, including migrating user data
  • Build and configuration of equipment for new hires
  • Creating new user accounts in Active Directory/Entra
  • Provide end user technical support in a timely manner
  • Maintain support requests in ZenDesk ticketing system
  • Assist with mobile device upgrades and new deployments
  • Maintain Asset tracking
  • Periodic travel to Brinkmann regional offices and Job Sites
Qualifications
  • Requires at least 5 years related work experience
  • Bachelor's degree, technical training or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Microsoft Windows 10/11 support
  • iOS support skills
  • Detailed oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service for employees
  • Microsoft Entra
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with Zendesk or equivalent ticketing system
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be willing to travel once every 1-2 months to provide support at regional office and job sites

Working Conditions:

  • The IT Desktop Supports work is primarily performed indoors at Brinkmann's corporate office
  • This role requires regular office hours, with potential for extended hours during reporting cycles
  • Light physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 10 pounds and some
  • Standing, walking, sitting, talking and/or hearing
