Description:
Under general supervision, operates computer and peripheral equipment. Performs clerical and maintenance tasks in support of a mainframe computer complex or other large centralized IT system.

This is a weekend shift with the hours of 7pm 7am, Saturday and Sunday. They would then need to get in an additional 16 hours anytime during the week. These additional 16hrs can be picked up on any shift. 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, monitors BPE/TPE transactions, all environmental, security, electrical & UPS systems. Checks the network systems to ensure statewide access. Works with vendors for hw/sw. Ensure all printed output is of high quality and defect free.

Preferred Qualifications
Significant experience as a Computer Operations Operator in a large data center. Exp w/a Network Operations Center (NOC). Exp w/production control. Exp with distributed servers running AIX, Linux, and Windows. Exp w/data center security, HVAC and electrical in a data center. Exp w/Control-M, TPE/BPE Manager.

Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical degree in a related field from an accredited college AND 2 years of related experience
