Description

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is searching for a full time Computer Systems Operator/Analyst II to support our US Navy NIWC PAC Test and Standards Support Services (TSSS) effort. 
This position is fully onsite in San Diego, CA. All eligible candidates must possess a current, active security clearance (secret level or higher). 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, debug, maintain, and deploy software applications.
  • Design logical solutions to solve technical and operational challenges through software development.
  • Utilize programming languages, development tools, and integrated development environments to build and maintain applications.
  • Work with code repositories and configuration management tools to manage software development projects.
  • Evaluate computer hardware and software technologies for use in Command and Control (C2), Net-Centric Operations, Information Management, and Decision Support systems.
  • Support software integration, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies that improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Follow established software engineering best practices and development standards.

Specialized Experience Requirements:

  • Four (4) years of experience in at least two of the following areas:
    • Systems analysis
    • Systems programming
    • Application programming
    • Computer equipment analysis
  • Three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Computer hardware evaluation
    • Systems software evaluation
    • Systems analysis supporting Command and Control (C2), Net-Centric Operations, Information Management, or Decision Support systems

Additional Requirements:

  • A current, active security clearance (at least secret level or higher) is required.
  • The ability to work fully on-site in San Diego, CA is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or six (6) years of equivalent training and/or professional experience.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and programming concepts.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with client-server application development.
  • Network programming experience
  • Data compression algorithm experience
  • Understanding of computer security principles.
  • Experience with web services.
  • Knowledge of publish/subscribe architectures.
  • Experience working with version control or code repository tools.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
The salary range for this position is between $105,000-$115,000 annually, depending on experience.
