Job description

Maximum Technology Corporation is a small business in Huntsville, AL. MTC focuses on providing DoD customers with efficient, cost-effective, and innovative solutions in data management, software engineering, system engineering, test and evaluation support, information technology, and information system security.

We are seeking a full-time Computer Operator/Systems Analyst I to join our team. The System Analyst I provides support to government customers for complex missile defense system programs. This position exhibits a working knowledge of government engineering documentation and how it is translated into a production environment for product build and quality acceptance. Required support includes review of program plans, contract requirements packages, and monitoring/assessment of contract data deliverables from prime contractors.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operate tactical systems requiring technical knowledge of the software applications and operating systems
  • Provide operational response to system alerts and changes in the system environment including system reconfiguration, analysis, and data reporting
  • Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system performance and maintains operational event logs and records
  • Create and deliver data products
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Required skills):

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Ability to operate independently or as part of a team with readily available guidance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Physical/Mental Qualifications

  • Continuous mental and visual attention, requiring constant alertness or activity
  • Occasional standing and walking
  • Prolonged periods of sitting in front of a computer screen, using hands and fingers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired skills):

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of Basic Linux command line operations
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Current DoD Secret clearance
