Job description


Our direct, F100 client is looking to hire two REMOTE IT Project Managers (titled internally as IT Associate Project Manager Lead) for a 12-month, extendable contract position. They're looking for IT Project Managers with deep experience leading projects teams that are focused on supporting application infrastructure in production environments (so, prior experience as a PM with infrastructure-related technologies would be ideal - Server, Security, Networking, Database, etc). Candidates can work remotely within the US, but must be able to follow an EST schedule.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Directs and manages IT project development and delivery from beginning to end.
- Facilitates project scope definition in collaboration with project sponsors.
- Develops IT project plans and associated communications documents and collaborates with an array of stakeholders, teams, and vendors to ensure the needed resources are available for project success.
- Develops and implements strategies to deliver projects according to business objectives and find improvements in the project lifecycle to deliver value sooner.
- Guides project through portions of the governance process.
- Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Influences project team members to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Works closely with the direct managers of project team members to maintain effective communication channels and ensure the appropriate development of individuals involved in the project.
- Builds, develops, and grows relationships vital to the success of the project.
